Today I harvested herbs from my little garden, a garden I have tended but not spoiled this year. Yet it has healed me in innumerable ways, putting my hands in the earth, growing from seeds and starter plants, watching them flourish. I haven’t had the energy this summer for too much gardening, not as I have in years past.
