    It’s summer. The weather is hot, the kids are feral, and our daily routine is completely shot— just as summer should be. Of course, reading still takes a priority in our house, with trips to the library and random midday story time. I even added reading independently to their chore charts (and yes, I pay them for it- don’t judge).
